I designed a sleek, modern dining area with lighting, table and chairs. I set out to create a table that had no legs, but still functioned as a stable dining room table seating 4-6 adults. I was able to create an environment as well as a suspended light fixture and chairs that have an element of tension to them to tie it all to get and create a coherent set of furniture that could be enjoyed by a variety of people, but focused towards a modern, younger generation of people.
